Setting up MediaLen.tv on an Amazon Firestick takes about five minutes, and you don't need any technical experience to do it. This guide walks through the whole process, from installing IBO Player to sending us your activation details and watching your first channel.
What you'll need
Before you start, make sure you have the following ready:
- An Amazon Firestick or Fire TV connected to the internet
- An active MediaLen.tv subscription
- A way to reach us on WhatsApp or email once IBO Player is installed
If you haven't subscribed yet, visit our Plans page to pick a plan and device count before continuing.
Step 1: Install IBO Player
We recommend IBO Player because activation is fastest, and it installs the same way as any other Firestick app — no sideloading or extra apps required.
- From your Firestick home screen, go to Find > Search.
- Type "IBO Player" and select it from the results.
- Choose Get or Download to install it — it's free.
Already use a different player?
MediaLen.tv works with any IPTV player that supports M3U or Xtream credentials, not only IBO Player. If you already use one you like, keep using it — your M3U URL is always available from My Accounts in the client portal.
Step 2: Open IBO Player
Launch IBO Player once installation finishes. It'll show you a MAC Address and a Device Key on screen — you'll need both for the next step.
Step 3: Send your MAC Address and Device Key
Message your MAC Address and Device Key to us on WhatsApp or email. Activation is handled manually by our team, so this step can't be skipped.
Step 4: We'll activate your playlist
Once we receive your MAC Address and Device Key, we'll activate your playlist — no further setup needed on your end. Reopen IBO Player after you get our confirmation and your channels, guide, and library will load automatically.
That's it — you're ready to start watching.
Common installation issues
Most installation problems come down to one of a few common causes.
IBO Player won't show up in the Appstore
Make sure your Firestick software is up to date (Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for System Update), then search again — a fresh Firestick occasionally needs a restart before new search results appear.
Activation is taking longer than expected
Activation is manual on our end, so it isn't instant. If it's been longer than a few hours during business hours, message us on WhatsApp with the MAC Address and Device Key you sent and we'll check on it.
IBO Player won't open
Restart your Firestick from Settings > My Fire TV > Restart, then try opening the app again. If it still won't launch, uninstall and reinstall IBO Player using the same steps above.
The picture is choppy or freezes
